The objective in development management is to establish and confirm the development strategy from a commercial standpoint, develop a scope of work and project schedule programme and then, following this benchmarked approach, to undertake its implementation by monitoring and co-ordinating activities with the different consultants involved. We act on the Client’s behalf to manage and advise on each project stage from site selection to commissioning of the completed facility as below:

 

1. Project Feasibility

  • Site selection, Research & Due Diligence

  • Co-ordination with Legal, Accounting & Financial Advisors

  • Negotiation with Secondary Financial Advisors for Raising Equity and Debt Financing if needed.

2. Development Management Approach & Project Strategy

  • Scope of Work

  • Project Schedule / Phasing Programme

  • Methodology

3. Translation into Workable Built Project

4. Design

  • Prequalification & Appointment of Designer for Preliminary Planning

  • Coordination & review of Master Plan / Building Design Economics & Specification

5. Procurement of Licences & Permits

  • Liaison with Municipal Authorities to assist with the Procurement of Building Permits & Zoning Approvals

6. Financial Control

  • Monitoring Specifications and Updating Cash Flow Activity

7. Construction

8. Marketing & Sales

  • Supervising the Public Relations, Promotional and Media Activities
